The Thai Embassy in Laos has warned jobseekers not to work illegally in a special economic zone (SEZ) in the Golden Triangle across the Mekong River from Thailand’s northernmost Chiang Rai province.

The Labour Ministry has introduced an innovative “Job Box” to help Thai jobseekers get job matches with a swipe of their Thai ID cards.
